General Provisions
Welcome to Light & Lead. These terms govern the use of our artisan services, including studio purchases, custom design agreements, and educational offerings. By engaging with our studio, you agree to comply with and be bound by the policies outlined in this document.
All original designs, stained glass patterns, and studio photography remain the intellectual property of Light & Lead and may not be reproduced without explicit written consent.
Section 2
Custom Projects & Restoration Services
Due to the bespoke nature of our artisan glasswork, all custom commissions and restoration projects require a non-refundable deposit of fifty percent prior to the commencement of work. Design proofs must be formally approved by the client before any raw glass is cut or lead lines are established.
Project timelines provided at the onset of a commission are estimates. Handcrafted glass fabrication and historic restoration are highly detailed processes that may require timeline adjustments to ensure the highest quality outcome.
Final payment for all custom panels and restored works is due upon completion, prior to professional installation or final studio handover.
Section 3
Workshop Registration & Safety
Full payment is required to secure a bench space in any of our scheduled stained glass workshops. Cancellations made fewer than fourteen days prior to the session start date are strictly non-refundable, though a credit may be applied to a future session at the sole discretion of the studio.
Studio safety is paramount. All workshop participants must adhere strictly to instructed safety guidelines. This includes wearing mandatory protective eyewear and closed-toe footwear at all times while handling cutting tools, raw glass, and lead materials on the premises. The studio reserves the right to dismiss any participant refusing to comply with safety protocols without refund.
